In keeping with its status as one of the principal commercial and economic centres in the west and central African region, the capital Kinshasa is extremely well served with A list hotels and resort hospitality and conference establishments of a very high standard, and a commensurately high price.

There are also a large number of cheaper, mid-range hospitality options in the capital too, but it is advisable to treat these with caution.

Outside Kinshasa the options are limited and fairly patchy. There few main regional and provincial towns offer a variety of hotel options, some reasonably priced, and a handful with acceptable standards of service and facilities.
